As Melissa Keyt stood over her husband’s hospital bed in November of 2008, she had a determined faith that he would breathe again and cancer would be defeated. When Perry went home to be with the Lord, she was left as a single mother of two facing the challenges of the journey ahead of her. Having been a pastor’s wife of 24 years, Melissa has learned just how important it is to lean on the absolute love the Christ during difficult times. She now stands as a testament of God’s faithfulness and an inspiration to all who are facing the impossible.
Melissa life and ministry is marked by transparency and passion. Her heart for the presence of God and her love for people is demonstrated in the way she lives and the message she speaks. John 15:5 says, “If a man remains in me and I in him, he will bear much fruit, apart from me, you can do nothing.” Realizing that without God’s provision, she can do nothing and her family is lost, Melissa has run to this scripture for guidance and encouragement for both herself and her children.
Listening to this woman of God will challenge you to be real with yourself, appreciate your family, face the enemy who steals from you, and walk victoriously against the impossible. Against all odds, Melissa believes that walking with Christ is the key to victory in every area of our lives
Since her husband’s passing, Melissa has shared the message of hope as a teacher, an exhorter, and a women’s conference leader. She is passionate about her assignment to share the gospel and encourage everyone who is hurting or questioning God’s love. Through scripture, Melissa Keyt teaches and inspires all of us to stand strong in our faith when facing the impossible.
Through a life lived by faith and love, Melissa’s passion is seen by all. Her one desire is to lift up the name of her soul provider—Jesus Christ.
